Ativan is the brand name for Lorazepam, an anti-anxiety drug. Do not drink alcoholic beverages with Ativan. Alcohol can add to the drowsiness caused by Ativan. Of the more than 30 million people who take drugs such as Ativan, more than four million are addicted. |
